It has now been about seven weeks since my surgery. I am still recommended not to engage in sex or exercise for another week, due to my complication. All the pain is gone, and I feel like a normal person.

I went to the pool wearing a bikini for the first time about a week ago. I looked beautiful and no one could tell. I feel like a normal woman, and I feel happy.

I told you in an earlier post that I was worried about sex and libido issues. Though I have not engaged in anal intercourse as of yet, I have masturbated. I can tell you that I have a very strong libido (I am horny and want to engage in masturbation or sex daily), my erections are very strong (as hard as before my surgery), and I even ejaculate (though it is just a clear liquid).

I have no more worries, and am just excited as every day passes.

Here are some photos of at the seven week point (you may notice there is some white stuff around the incision; that white stuff is mederma cream that I have begun to apply to reduce scaring).

I had a complication with my procedure. There was a place where four incision lines met that did not close. After speaking with my surgeon and another doctor I was told to keep it clean with an antibacterial spray and to just keep an eye on it.

Here are photos of my complication; these photos are from about two weeks after surgery.

My surgeon told me that the pain level for the surgery differs for each patient, and I have to say that I found it to be very painful. It was hard to walk and urinate, but I still didn't regret it.

I did want to let you know that prior to my surgery I did a lot of research and read about the possible side effects. One of the most concerning side effects was the possible lowing of my libido, inability to get an erection (impotency or erectile dysfunction), and inability or organism even with anal stimulation.

These are some photos of my bandages and then of the incision after the bandages were removed.

My Orchiectomy

I am a twenty-something male-to-female (MTF)transsexual that has recently had an orchiectomy and scrotectomy. I was on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for about a year and a half prior to the procedure. I had the procedure done by a surgeon that specializes in transsexual genital surgeries.

The reason I wanted to have the procedure done was for multiple reasons. One reason I wanted to have it done because in my state you can have your gender marker, in my case the F for female on my birth certificate, changed to M for male. Another reason was because I felt that the testicles made made me a man (I could still produce semen if I stopped my medications), and I wanted to be my true female self. I also wanted to be able to stop my anti-androgens, which if taken for a prolonged period can cause adverse health affects, and I knew that after this procedure I could stop those medications. And finally, I wanted to be able to wear clothing more comfortably (since the procedure, tucking has become so much easier and less visible that I am able to wear a bikini without any problem).

These are some photos of my genitals prior to the surgery for your reference.
